MHP Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. İlyas Topsakal Visited Manas University

Prof. Dr. İlyas Topsakal, Deputy Chairman of the MHP and Samsun MP, visited 91×ÔÅÄ and met with Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and the university administration.

In addition to Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, the meeting at 91×ÔÅÄ was attended by Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibrayev, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş and Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karımşakov, and Secretary-General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil.

During the meeting, evaluations were made on higher education, educational and cultural cooperation in the Turkic world, raising youth in a shared educational environment, and the role of Manas University in this area.

"Manas University is an important center where the cultural codes of the Turkic World are kept alive"

Stating that higher education is an important field in developing relations within the Turkic world, Prof. Dr. İlyas Topsakal expressed that 91×ÔÅÄ holds a special position in this regard.

Pointing out that Manas University brings together young people from Türkiye, Kyrgyzstan, and other Turkic world countries in the same educational environment, Topsakal stated that the university is not merely an institution of higher education, but also a center where shared cultural values are preserved.

Topsakal expressed his satisfaction with the development of the university, stating, "Manas University is actually the owner of the cultural codes and cultural world in the Turkic World."

Noting that the academics working at Manas University contribute not only through scientific studies but also to strengthening relations within the Turkic world, Topsakal thanked the university administration, academics, and staff, particularly Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan.

"It is important to increase production and creativity in our own language"

Addressing the relationship between language and education in his speech, Topsakal stated that Manas University plays an important role through its educational model where Turkish and Kyrgyz are used together.

Topsakal stated that increasing scientific production in one's native languages in higher education is crucial for generating original thoughts and works, adding that universities should not merely convey existing knowledge, but produce new ideas based on their own scientific and cultural heritage.

Noting that Manas University enables young people from Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and the Turkic world to meet in a shared academic environment in this respect, Topsakal drew attention to the university's structure that strengthens both scientific production and cultural ties.

"Unity among the Turkic World develops on the basis of joint production and brotherhood"

During the meeting, where relations within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States were also evaluated, Topsakal expressed that unity in the Turkic world should be developed on the foundation of joint production, mutual cooperation, and fraternal relations.

Topsakal emphasized that in addition to relations among Turkic world countries, it is also important to establish good relations with neighboring countries, noting that cooperation in the Turkic world progresses on the basis of joint projects and mutual benefit.

Stating that Manas University is one of the key institutions in education and culture reflecting this perspective, Topsakal emphasized that bringing together students from different countries under one roof is valuable for a shared vision of the future.

KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan expressed his satisfaction with the visit and stated that Manas University is one of the important institutions of cooperation in education, science, and culture between Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan. Ceylan stated that bringing young people from the Turkic world together in a shared academic environment is an essential part of Manas University's core mission since its establishment.

Stating that Manas University continues to develop through scientific research, cultural endeavors, and international academic collaborations alongside educational activities, Ceylan noted that the educational approach based on shared values will continue to be strengthened in the coming period.
