Cooperation Protocol Signed Between KTMU and the Turgunbay Sadykov National Academy of Arts

A protocol was signed between 91×ÔÅÄ (KTMU) and the Turgunbay Sadykov National Academy of Arts of the Kyrgyz Republic to enhance education, science, and academic cooperation. KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan received Acting Rector of the Turgunbay Sadykov National Academy of Arts Prof. Aydar Usukeev, along with Prof. Suyutbek Torobekov, a lecturer in the Painting Department and National artist of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meeting, existing academic relations between the two institutions were evaluated, and potential joint projects in education and science were discussed.

Commitment to Joint Work in Education and Science

Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan highlighted the importance of strengthening the ties between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan through academic cooperation. Expressing his pleasure in hosting the guest delegation at the university once again, Ceylan stated that KTMU is ready to provide all possible scientific support. Prof. Aydar Usukeev shared information about the activities of the Academy, which operates with 7 faculties. Expressing his gratitude for KTMU's support, Usukeev emphasized that they attach great importance to maintaining communication and mutual academic visits between the institutions. The two educational institutions exchanged views on developing existing relations through joint efforts and ensuring the sustainability of their cooperation.

Academic Relations Spanning from Past to Present

Sharing that he has known the area where KTMU is located for many years, Prof. Aydar Usukeev recalled that he personally wrote the inscription "Friendship of  the Kyrgyz-Turkish Nations" when the area was first opened. He expressed his joy in seeing the area, which was previously used as an airport, transformed into a modern and green university campus today. Noting that academic relations have existed between the two institutions in the past and that faculty members have conducted mutual visits, Prof. Aydar Usukeev stressed the importance of maintaining these contacts. Recalling the KTMU graduation ceremony he had previously attended, Usukeev shared that the organization at the event and the educational environment at the university left a positive impression on him. Drawing attention to the value of an educational environment that supports students' academic development and enriches their artistic and cultural experience, he commended the work carried out at KTMU in this direction.

Support of 30 Easels for Art Education

As part of the visit, KTMU gifted 30 easels to the Turgunbay Sadykov National Academy of Arts. The protocol signed following the meeting established a framework for cooperation between the two institutions to conduct joint work in education and science, strengthen academic communication, and maintain their ongoing partnership.
